‘Communication Inspires and Empowers’ is a space where the art and a little bit of the data and science of effective communication takes center stage. As a seasoned professional communicator and leader with decades of experience with the gray hair to prove it, this blog is a manifestation of my personal beliefs and insights in the areas of communications, leadership, productivity… and occasionally spirituality.
I aim to pay homage to the wisdom of brilliant minds across time by incorporating quotations from well-known and highly respected people nto my reflections. Through a blend of these timeless words, contextual analysis, and anecdotes drawn from my own journey, I aspire to ignite fresh perspectives and realizations in the minds of my readers.
What sparked this project? My word for 2023 — “inspire.”
Why It Matters
As a communicator, I understand and appreciate the power words have. Typically, in December, I choose a word to help focus and guide me over the next twelve months. While the practice hasn’t changed my life, I can attest to how it’s improved it.
